All industries are called upon to adopt proper health and safety practices. The OSHA 10 Hour General Industry Outreach Training course provides  substantial safety-related information that includes the general areas of  hazard recognition,  avoidance, abatement and prevention. The student will learn about OSHA, its role in safety and its various regulations. Complementary, they learn about their own employer responsibilities, and worker rights. OSHA recommends Outreach Training Program courses as an introduction  to occupational safety and health for workers.  The OSHA 10 Hour General Industry training is ideal for those individuals that work in non-Construction jobs, but still have an everyday responsibility for plant/workplace safety.
